      Any one have this phone?

I had a BB and was going to get an Iphone. Went to Verizon and, after a comparison, got this. This phone is freakin great and a work of technology. What really sold me was the Iphone from Verizon says 4G. However the 4G is the model and does not mean a 4G network. Now thats marketing at its best.

I am waiting on the Bionic. I looked at the Thunderbolt but the reviews on the battery are terrible. Let me know how it is for you? Otherwise the phone is blazing fast from what I could tell.

Got to tell you, it is not good. Lasts only about a day but and i was told this by the sales guy. Went out and picked up a car charger and was looking to pick up an extended battery/second as replacement. Went on Amazon and saw a few batteries reasonably priced. Thing is, some need a replacement back cover which makes the phone bigger and some dont

Yeah the salesman at Verizon showed me his Thunderbolt with the extended battery. It was too thick for my liking. But if you are getting a day on a charge then that would be fine for me. I charge my Droid every night before bed and it is usually at anywhere from 40-70%. It depends on how much I use it of course. I have had to charge it again in my car on the drive home. I think people might just be ridiculous if they are thinking you should get 3 or 4 days of charge on smart phones. I was under the impression that you had to be charging it multiple times a day.

This. It just isn't going to happen. With as many apps, internet, texts, etc....there is no way to get multiple days out of a charge from any smart phone.

As for the Iphone 4g, jamescb77 said it....the name was before the technology. It does confuse people though. Maybe in the next series they will drop the "g." Just have it Iphone5

That does look like the baddest phone on the market. I wish it were with Verizon too. I had left Verizon for ATT but had to come back due to poor phone signal. I did love the iPhone though but now realize Droid is better for my needs. The Bionic is similar to the Atrix so I'm trying to hold out for it. I know if I buy a Thunderbolt the next week they will come out with the Bionic..lol. That has been my luck when I buy phones.

Here's are some pics of it. https://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2011/...-droid-bionic/

I am getting anxious as heck but don't want the Thunderbolt. I am waiting for the Bionic or LG Revolution, whichever comes first most likely. I felt like getting a Droid X, but then I just read that they are coming out with a Droid X 2, still 3G though. This gets old..lol. You go buy one and a new one comes out. On Amazon you can get the Droid x for 1 cent with a 2 year contract if you are not yet on Verizon, and $20 if you already are. That is a hard one to pass up. But I'll wait.

the Bionic looks pretty sweet, wonder what features it has that the X doesn't. I got the incredible last year for my upgrade and traded it in a day later on the X, I said i wouldn't buy another phone after buying the X b/c it is pretty much all i will ever need, BUT that Bionic looks pretty tempting...... may just have to add a line!
