Last Friday, my girl, Sarah & I got into a disagreement. Basically, she wanted a $350 phone and needed me to help her buy it. The problem was that neither of us had enough money to buy it at the time and she assumed that I took money out of the bank to prevent helping her. She forget that I would write out a check to pay a bill one day and the slow ass companies may not deposit it for a week or two. But she wasn't hearing it. Instead, her daughter, somehow, helped her with the phone and Sarah told me that she wanted me OUT!

So now for a couple of hours, I was homeless. I called a friend/ex and she let me sleep over for the night. Feeling down and out, I wasn't expecting anything to happen between us but it did. YEP... We had sex that night and went out to breakfast the next morning as we both left for work.

Again, I wasn't feeling that "happy and energetic" when I got to work but earlier the night before, I had texted my friends and family of my disposition. And one of my female friends at work had told me that we needed to talk. Oddly, we had planned to go out for the first time a week later. She suggested to me that we go out, see how well we get alone, and maybe I can just move in with her until I find something. I thought that it was a chance that I was willing to take. She ended up calling me almost every hour at work with more suggestions. During my 1st break, she called and said, "I tell you what. If you can find somewhere to stay for a couple of days, I'll talk to my daughter and maybe you can move in on Monday." Okay, I thought. Sure we're moving pretty fast but it's not as if we hadn't known each other long. We've been talking here at work for about 3 years or more before going out. She learned that she had a flat tire and called OnStar to change it for her. (Before you say it, I couldn't do it since I was at work and my supervisor was already on my ass about being on my cellphone so much.) So during my 2nd break, I thought I'd go check on her in the parking lot and see if everything was okay. All was well, the guy was changing her tire and she was all smiles when I drove up. She wrapped her arm around mine and said, "Guess what? My daughter is spending the weekend at her friend's house so you can just come over tonight when you get off of work if you'd like. I already explained the situation to my mom and she told me that it sounds like fate is putting us together." I was like, "WOW, this is so sudden but I guess I'll see you tonight."

Well, it's been a week since we started our "live in relationship" and everything is going great. She's a damn good cook and mother. But I had to laugh when she told me of Sarah, "Her loss is my gain."
