Tweetdamn thats amazing
TweetA buddy of mine at the gym works with this guy. Not too shabby for 5'5" and weighing 165lbs. I'm lucky to get 400lbs at my weight of 210lbs. His training techniques are pretty archaic as well. Kind of like the Rocky movies. He uses large chain links placed over his body to do push ups.

"I'm telling you, once your car's been stolen, it never runs the same again. It's like a guy sleeping with your girl. He leaves his mark all over her."- Drama (Entourage)
TweetThat is amazing, even though he only had to push it 8 inches, but still amazing.
They call you paranoid until the worst happens, and in the aftermath they will call you a hero.
TweetCool, I looked at his other videos and it looks like his raw max press i saw was 460-480 or so. I dont get excited about the bench shirt assisted lifts, it makes no sense. I mean he lifted 480lbs and the shirt lifted 220lbs. Its like if i benched 2,000lbs with robot arms. Anyway, 480 at 165 is very impressive. And, for anyone who wants to add some serious strength to their bench, or squat for that matter, do like he does and add chains to bench, it will help the top portion of your lift and improve explosiveness. You can also use bands.
Tweetdamn
TweetI have to agree with Strella. Also it looks liek he has two shirts put over the top of each other. I have never been into big shirted benches as much as big raw benches. I give him his respect for the lift though.
TweetI cant tell you how many guys I know that are like 5'4" and 160 pounds and they bench over 400 lbs. Used to frustrate the hell out of me because of my long arms, which helped me to deadlift cuz i didnt have to pull the bar very far
TweetYup, Ive known a lot of really short dudes who put up serious weight as well. I did a bench comp once and this guy in my weight class had the most ridiculous arch ever and he only had to move the bar like 8 inches maybe. It was literally the same motion as a decline press plus, he was really short.
Tweetthread should say 460# bench at 165#, those jackets are retarded.
TweetJoe is a beast! He's one of the worlds best benchers shirted or raw.
Tweetthats impressive but his arms are only 8 inches long. he really didnt have to move the weight far LOL
TweetJust seems like sometimes it cant be real such a small guy lifting so much weight. As slow as it came down would seem it justs zaps all your energy then to push it back up all I can say is wow and I wouldnt want that to fall on me

Tweetwow...impressive for sure.i still can't beleive how long he held it at his chest level then blasted it up.that would zap my strength too as FUZO said.those bench shirts look awfully uncomfortable,no?

TweetHe's well known in Powerlifting circles, that shirt does alot to keep him from getting hurt as well.It was a shirted meet.
