      Ok, you might say you couldnt care less, and thats fine, but lets face it, the Mike Vick issue is going to get bigger and bigger and if the guy goes to the Super Bowl, its going to be discussed on EVERY news station on earth...to forgive or not to forgive the guy for hanging, electrocuting, drowning and torturing helpless animals, that is THE BIG question.
      Has he changed? Is he only apologizing because he got caught? Wouldnt he still be doing dogfighting had he not got caught? Is 24 speeches about dogfighting enough? Is the evil inside of a person that makes him torture animals eradicated by prison?
      Is michael vick a worthless piece of crap?

      First off, I never thought he was that good of a QB in Atlanta. But since coming to Philly, I've changed my mind.
      Secondly, I have mixed feelings on the situation. If you take a guy raised in the hood, and plop $30 MILLION in is pocket, he's now a rich guy with the hood mentality. Most of these guys have no mentor in life. They get by in college because of their athletic ability alone. Then, they get out of college and their agents are only interested in dollar signs. So they get their influence from the guys they grew up with. Mike probably didn't want to seem "soft" in front of his boys, so he kept up his hood ways. Sure, he knew it was wrong. But would this be as big a deal if this was a guy who worked at Burger King? Not at all. We would watch it on the news, say "What an ass", and let the guy go back to working at Burger King for $8 an hour. This is news because it's Mike Vick. And because he makes $1 million a year, it's a major news story. He served his time, and never lost his athletic ability in the process. Let the guy play ball. Just like the guy at Burger King would be able to go back to making a living, let Mike do it to. If people have a problem with what he did, don't go to an Eagles game, or don't support the Eagles team. Simple as that.

      Its like people are saying had Vick not done as well as he has then there would not be a need to forgive him, but since he is ballin out then we should all forgive him and feel sorry for what he went through. He made poor choices and served his time. He is def fun to watch play, but no, i dont want him dogsitting for me any time soon. The way he is playing should have no bearing on how u feel about his true remorse. I honestly just think he is pissed that he got caught and wishes he could have a do-over. Is that true remorse? Who knows?

      a black friend of mine said he went to a dogfight in the Virginia area and said its big in that part of the usa among african americans. it's what they're brought up with. They think stuff like that is normal. I honestly feel Vick realizes now what he did was wrong. He did his time, I'm happy for the guy. I hope he becomes a great role model. everyone has done stupid shit but he has paid for it already. let him play and if you don't like him, don't watch his games.

      Lets imagine this story in January 2011...Lets say the Eagles go to the Super Bowl. man, its going to be a huge issue. The upside is that Michael Vick getting caught was the best thing ever for Pit Bulls..Maybe a Michael Vick Super Bowl will do tons more for dogs...if so, Go Vick! Go Eagles!
