TweetAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Hate social trainers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wrote up my whole delt program for today's training this morning at work. Got to gym and saw two dudes on my Hammer shoulder press bench. Had a long drink of water, waited a few minutes, they were several sets in, soooooo i went up and did 5 sets on the ab machine. about another 15 minutes for them to finish up. waited in an obvious spot so they'd know i was waiting. Gave up and went and did 5 sets of db laterals and dudes were STILL dicking around. one would do a set, the other would do a set and then they'd both gravitate to the bench press area where mr upper body was training to gaze in admoration pie eyed as they sought training advice. i finished up laterals and said **** it and went and did reverse oec dec for rear delts. 4 sets and finally the 13 inch arm boys were done pressing. jumped in and did my 5 sets of presses and they were still paying homage to mr no legs on the bench press. i cannot wait to ease back into early morning workouts before work. these marathon rest between sets people are killing me cuz i want to beat the shyt out of them. god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But that's the way it is at our gym. The place gets so crowded that you can't do what you want and it's mostly kids hanging around talking. They will be in there for hours too....I don't understand it. It's like the high school hangout or something.

Tweetright? funny thing was one of the shoulder training pie eyed boys works at the gym. he's getting schooled by bench man on front delt raises with dbs: yeah lift em up way high guys. cmon bro, once you break parallel with the delts you take stress off delt and risk injury to delt. he had em going from front raise to a bastardized db press. omg. too funny

LOL...some people when they walk in the gym, should have their mouths taped shut...LOL...People want to comeup and talk about the weather, football, gossip, etc...OMG, I cant be mean to them, thats the problem..I wish I could just ignore them, but I have to be nice. I have taken to wearing a huge set of headphones and that seems to help

Tweetthats one thing i liked about my gym...it was mostly guys my age and if they were yapping it was no biggy to tell them to scoot!! lol...everyone worked together pretty good. if yapping was being done and i wanted the machine, i'd tell them i just cleared a spot over there (point to random spot) for them to go and finish discussing shyt....i need the machine. they'd laff...and move

However what does get me, is this personal trainer who works there. She takes her clients, sets up a 3x5 matt, and has them do stretches in the middle of the floor RIGHT in front of the dumbell rack. C'mon Man, she should no better.

Tweetever since summer vacation to disney i can't seem to get up in time to hit gym before work, i love training then, just people who know why they are there and what they need to do, no social hour, no showing off, just sweat and effort.

TweetI always just go straight up to the person and ask how many sets they have left, then if I feel like it I usually just see if i can work in. That usually keeps people on their toes and gets em outta your way faster.
