I can't get over these stupid ass fockers. You got dems mocking republicans for walking with the president on the beach. I'm thinking, 'dude?..you do remember you got a (D) by your name, right?' that's some stupid shit. It's funny how they'll sell-out faster than they can run. Republicans are backpedaling for backing this complete trainwreck of an admin, and all the bs it's thrown out there. "bs" like trillions of wasted dollars during a recession.
Don't vote for it, such as everything this admin threw on the table, and then try to "walk for the people" now. Nothing worse than a double crossing, 2-faced, lier. There goes all of 'em.

I know 1 thing I'll be damn happy about. And that will be never to see Pelosi's leather-face in Hi-Def ever again. That stupid bytch is still talking about stealing from this person to give to that person. "wealth redistribution". I would give a nut to take her and anyone with that fuked up idiology on. Pelosi...pshheeit...what do ya expect from a San Fran dem, though? It could be worse. maybe.

How long have I been trying to explain to people that the vast majority of politicians are lying, deceiving, crooks, that are all in it for the same thing, power and corruption. There is really no major difference between the two parties with the exception of the letter beside their name. The facts are all right out there for anyone to look at. The Republicans criticize the Democrats for spending, yet when the Republicans held the majority in both houses under a Republican President (W. Bush) they spent more money than any administration in the history of our country. Also, note that the war spending was pretty much insignificant in comparison to all the other spending they did. This is a fact plain and simple, and for those who deny it just do a simple search on google and review the numbers. Now that the Democrats are doing the spending the Republicans criticize them. Then you have the pathetic Republican Senator Lindsey Graham trying to pass a national ID card, something only a Democrat would typically call for. And there's Joe Libermann, pathetic piece of trash, comparing our cyber security to China's and saying we need to be more like them, a communist country for crying out loud. Most every one of them is a pathetic corrupt piece of trash, the lowest scum on earth, deceiving bast**ds. And what do most of the American people do? Support one party or the other, and always claim they will do better this time or next time, though it has never happened. I can't for the life of me understand why people still support either one of these parties passionately. How can people not get it? Why do they always think things will change with the next election? Sure you might get some short term changes, but nothing long term, no way in heck. The German dictator that we can't mention on here for some reason said it best, "what luck for rulers that men do not think." Couldn't be said any better, not that I like quoting a murderous dictator, but it is nonetheless true. People believe all the propaganda they are fed, from Global Warming, to over population, to terrorist threats. Whatever nonsense the government comes up with people still overwhelmingly believe it to some degree. People that are against climate change legislation often still say they do believe global warming is real but not sure if its man-made or not. Come on, get real, this is all bs, sure the temps might have been warmer for a decade or so but the planet has been around for billions of years, and we think that the last 200 pose a serious threat to it. I look at government the way George Carlin did, I don't believe a word they tell us. And yes I am also guilty of supporting some of these scum by voting for the Republicans, the lesser of two evils, with a few exceptions in the senate and congress, but I do not do so passionately. I will not stand up for one of the two major parties, nor do I really stand up for the Libertarian Party, I merely joined it for the philosophy of it because it resonates with my true beliefs. There are a few Republicans running this year that seem to be good people, but lets see how long it lasts. I hope they do prove that they are above the bs in politics as usual, but if they let me down I am done with all of them, exception Ron Paul, the only politician who has a consistent voting record in line with his lifelong stated views and principles. Regardless if you like the man or not, that is saying something. Find me any others who do the same and I will comment them too.

It's ridiculous. Brain-dead society. That German hit it right on the head with that statement. The people make it easy for the take-over. Stossel questioned some folks on the street in New York on what they believe our government's job should be. One elderly woman said, to take care of us." !!! What?! Are you freakin kiddin me?! These people literally have no clue. With a body of people holding that belief in government...we're in more trouble than I thought.
The corruption is out of control. A government elect position now holds very appealing attributes to the power-hungry, controlling, ego-trippin, psychopaths.

Watching these democrats sell-out is down-right funny. sick, but funny. If you just listen to most of them, they sound like a modern republican. Not a difference. As I've always said. The 1st to just sell-out and say whatever they think the people want to hear is the guy with the (D). That's one of the things I like about W. Bush. He spoke from the heart wheather it was the popular thing to do, or not so popular. He would make a decision. Address the U.S., and go with it. The man stood by his convictions. His Patriot Act was against The Constitution. We all dislike it. The left went loud and hard against it. It was only an Act by Bush. This president signed it permanent law. No noise from the left on that one though.
There have been many things throughout history that were put into effect by a good president, then the negative effects which were obviously unforeseen set-in.
The crazy part is the foundation for The Republic had been laid. Excuse me. The entire system was built for all succeeding presidents. The Republic was a full time job for a small government. With that system back in place. The people regain the power, and the government is easily kept in check. Mr. Ron Paul was going to hack the government's size down by great portions. And that was just out of the gate. We might've been close to a republic again had he gotten it.

Yes, it is hard to decide in this election. I plan to vote, but its really a matter of picking the least corrupt candidate, which is VERY hard to do. So many of these politicos have no idea what its like to be a REGULAR CITIZEN who works 9-5 and pays bills, taxes , doesnt have health insurance, etc...
seems 95% of them come from wealthy families

yep. That's why they are so out-of-touch with middle America. all Americans. The entire population. It seems any politician. You could play blind-fold pin the politico, and everyone would have a lifestyle, upbringing, etc...which makes them of a completely different mentality than 97% of Americans.
They sure try to sell the bs premise that they are indeed "one of us". yeah. k. They all do it.
Not to over-praise the guy, but Rand Paul really touches home when he speaks. He seems to be as real as it gets.
The government machine. Once inside, there's some kind of indroctrination, or brain washing...something that makes these presidents age fast, and make some off beat decisions.

The Republic was a full time job for a small government.

I agree that this is what some of the founders and framers worked for, but it the end result was a Constitution designed for the federal government to grow infinitely. This is why there was the anti-federalist papers, look them up and read some or all of them. The anti-federalists were correct in everything they criticized about the Constitution. One of the biggest complaints was the lack of term limits, which I believe is the primary reason we are in the shape we're in. The next biggest problem was lifetime appointments for Supreme Court Justices, and the fact that the President gets to choose them. A lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court is insane for a supposed free country, and allowing the president to choose them, well, just look at what we end up with. The people should elect them the same as they do the politicians, and they should not have life time appointments. How are we to know they still have all of their marbles in tact at 80 and 90 years old, some of them are older than 90.

Mr. Ron Paul was going to hack the government's size down by great portions. And that was just out of the gate. We might've been close to a republic again had he gotten it.

Paul would definitely attempt to decrease the size of government, but it is not so easily done when the entire Congress and Senate see it the other way. Keep in mind that even Reagan was unsuccessful in his attempt to do so. Reagan said he regrets his biggest failure that he did not do more to decrease the size of government. Actually, under Reagan the size of the federal government increased. However, I still like Reagan and admire what he did with the economy. His lower tax policy resulted in some of the best years our country has seen, and it corrected the 20% inflation Jimmy Carter created. But Paul is even better than Reagan, and I hold him on par with Thomas Jefferson as far as principles and his view on freedom are concerned. Unfortunately, Americans don't want a Ron Paul limited government Republican in office. The people have become lazy and addicted to big government cradle to grave protection. The federal education system has dumbed down society to the point that people don't understand basic economics or history, much less the Constitution or individual rights. I would argue that not many people understand individual rights, and instead believe in group rights overriding individual ones. They believe that if the ****es believe in something even if it takes away an individuals rights, so be it. Well, that is socialism, which is what a Pure Democracy leads to. We have permitted a despotic government to rule our lives.

It is indeed hard to choose, but I just stay away from the Democrats, as they have become a socialist/communist party. If you understand Marxism then you understand that the Democratic Party supports it openly. In the Senate and Congressional elections I go with the Republicans. I vote for Libertarians in all other offices, and would vote Libertarian for senate and congress but there are none available in my state this time around, or none with a snowballs chance in hell anyway. For governor I went with the newcomer Republican. And I vote against all incumbents except when a Democrat is the only choice. As for judges and sheriffs, I find the ones who seem less supportive of big government. For judges that I don't know much about, I just found a local teamsters union website that told their members who to vote for, and I voted for the opposite judge for every court. It is a shame that union members need to be told who to vote for, but with the amount of Marxism support among unions it is safer to vote the opposite.

      js,

imho, one of the problems is people like me, in my heart i want to believe in the good of people, and that they have good intentions and do the right thing, thus i translate that believe from an individual i meet to the collective, and up the ladder

when i was young i thought politics was BS, and when clinton was elected I was like WTF, which is the only time i have ever voted, for the original bush, imho he was a good president and deserved another four and clinton was a bona-fide died in the wool philanderer, thus i cast my vote

having watched it all tangentially over the last 18 years, imho

10% of politicians are out and out nut jobs
70% go with whatever flow there is, most of there job is cya
10% out and out crooks liars and theives and power mongers that will do anything at anytime
      10% good and honest

thus, it ends up in one vicious circle after another and crises pile up

and what's my conclusion, hell i wish i woulda stuck with my origianl way back when and not waisted the effort, mental and emotional effort

it only get's me wound up, lol, the more u know the more u fear

2011 ahhhhhhh, the year currency wars begin in earnest imho, ww-3 here we come

I agree with your position with the exception that your numbers are your own estimate. I would put it more around 50% are pathetic, lying, deceiving, evil people who do not represent anything good for the well being of our country. I believe 45% are in it for pure power, paychecks, and a pension, yet the first 50% are also in it for that reason. That leaves 5% in my view that strive to do what is good, but of those 5% I'd say around 4% of them will buckle under pressure and give in to whatever cause is tempting them. That leaves 1% that I believe are honestly doing all they can to help make America a better country. In that 1% is Ron Paul, soon to be Senator Joe Miller of Alaska, and also soon to be Senator Rand Paul of KY. There are a few other congressman that I believe are good people but I can't recall their names, just seems like every time I see them fighting for something they are passionate about it. These are the no none politicians that fight behind the scenes but never get recognition, and some of them only stay in office for 1 or 2 terms and then return to regular life. I can't find a single sitting senator that I believe is good. Any that I have tried to believe in has proved me right in my belief that they are all bad. The congress is where the few good politicians reside. But after this election I believe the Senate will have at least two, which is a good start.

Where we disagree is believing that there is good in everyone. I don't believe more than a handful of politicians are have an ounce of goodness in their blood. I believe it takes pure evil to do the things they are doing to our country. When a person attempts to steal liberty away from the good people of our land, that is pure evil. The only good politician is one who will stick to his or her principles no matter if its the popular decision or not. The fact that most of them flip flop on so many issues proves to me that they have no principles, and are easily bought, thus the term political prostitute. Some people on this board have said that if Ron Paul would change his views on wars and drugs they would support him, but that is precisely what is wrong with most politicians, that they will change their views to become popular with the people. But the American people continue to fall for these political hacks, naively believing that they mean well for we the people.

I don't think a workplace can be compared to the political arena. Those who seek political office are a rare breed. I saw an excellent illustration of it recently, let me try to find it for you. But I do get what you're saying Trip.
Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. George Washington

I do not condone the use of, nor do I use anabolic or androgenic steroids. My participation on these boards is for informational purposes only. I have done extensive research of AAS and enjoy discussing them for role playing enjoyment.
