FYI: Chicken of the Sea Tuna Recalled

TweetJuly 1, 2010 -- More than 1,100 cases of Chicken of the Sea brand solid white tuna in water have been recalled in 10 states by Tri-Union Seafoods.
The company says it is recalling a limited number of 12-ounce cans of the popular tuna brand because they were not sealed tightly enough.
"Loose seals, or seams, could result in product contamination by spoilage organisms or by pathogens and lead to illness if consumed," the FDA said in a news release announcing the recall. No illnesses have been reported.
The cans were sold by retail stores in California, Colorado, Indiana, Maine, Nebraska, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah, and Wisconsin.
The recalled cans carry the UPC code 4800000262, "Best By Date 2/10/2014" and product code 7OA1E ASWAB, 7OA2E ASWAB, 7OA3E ASWAB, 7OA4E ASWAB, 7OA5E ASWAB, 7OAEE ASWAB or 7OAFE ASWAB.
Anyone who purchased the product should call 877-843-6376 for return and refund information.

Tweetyep...had it 3 or 4 times this week. we love tuna!! starkist is out brand of choise! not so much becouse of the tuna....i like that the cans dont bend and shyt when i'm trying to squeeze out the water!!! lol
