    Cote vs Belcher??

    I don't know if you guys have seen the fight, but if you get a chance, check it out and post up your thoughts about ending.

    Basically, Cote was beating Belcher down the entire fight. Then Belcher got Cote's head between his legs, picked him up, and slammed him on his head which basically ended the fight because it stunned Cote very badly. Now there is a rule for slamming someone on their head, that can end in a DQ just like kneeing a downed opponent. Nothing was said about this, I think because Cote stuck his arms out first. But his head definitely got slammed into the mat.

    What you guys think?

    I dont think Cote was beating Belcher up badly at all. Belcher was landing a ton of serious leg kicks. i dont think the slam was intentionally on his head though it def got some of the damage

      Cote was winning the fight hands down. He was controlling the pace and landing more shots. The fight was his until that happened. But I am happy for Belcher though. He is a good fighter with a good attitude.

        Well, I say that, but keep in mind that I was watching a stream and I could have missed some things. From what I saw, Cote was winning. I heard Joe Rogan say the same thing too. But I will retract that portion of my thread until I can watch a better video.

          I may rewatch it also. I just remember thinking that Belcher was winning, then it kind of went back and forth. Dana was saying how he thought Belcher was landing some of the hardest leg kicks he had seen since first watching Cro Cop. I know i wasnt super focused on that fight at the time so i prob missed some stuff.

            You are probably right. The streams don't necessarily "stream" that well. Either way, I like Belcher so that's cool.
