TweetMy backup is a kahr p380. It is only 9 ounces. And for my backup backup I carry a knife called a clinch pick.

They call you paranoid until the worst happens, and in the aftermath they will call you a hero.
Tweetsweet little .380.
Do you ankle it?..ankle holster? I've been wanting to feel how an ankle holster totes a small BUG like that.
TweetI have a holster that makes it look like a wallet in my back pocket. The clinch pick I carry is sweet. It nullifies any guys grappling ability. It's made to be accessible when a guy is on top of u so u can gut him.

Tweetmine would be a kel tec 380..fits in the palm of your hand and it a really good shooter. Unfortunately my gun budget doesn't cover "backup guns" at this point![]()
TweetHave you shot their .32? Keltec's .380 is based off of the .32, but I can hit much better rapid shots with the .32 than the .380 cause of the full grip 10rd mag (which is a MecGar from KelTec*optional), and slightly more visible sights. I'd probably be dry firing the .380 about every mag without the slide lock-back too.
I've had a, or several, occassions to compare the 2 and I'm glad I chose the P32 when they were both sitting on the counter in front of me. A friend, that goes shooting with me sometimes, got the .380. Great little gun. The P32 just has a few pirks over the rest of the pack in the pocket-pistol category. But it's a .32 instead of .380. But, if you like to target shoot, and practice with what you carry, that's a good thing. the .32 instead of .380 thing, because of ammo availability and cost.

TweetI've been thinking of ordering the new Ruger LCP .380 for a carry weapon in the spring and summer.

TweetLCP.380. That's a good one. Very familiar looking to the KT P3AT.
If it's like the rest of Ruger's semi-autos, it should be represented by Ruger for use of any and all loads distributed in it's caliber including +P, etc...instead of the "limit high velocity loads" jargon ya usually see in the manuals. I love my Ruger.
TweetThis made me think of 'last resort' situations. In my state, you get licensed to carry any deadly weapon and firearm. That really broadens your abilities for self defense.
