TweetWow!!!! 61k! I could not imagine paying that much for a vehicle. I sure do love those diesels though. I am hoping to buy my step-dad's 2005 Chevy Duramax once he retires.
TweetWow, what a ride that was. The truck has tremendous power, more than any I've driven except my own..lol, if you count my tune. Power was strong at all ranges, transmission if smooth, and minimal turbo lag. It truly rides like a luxury car, at least on blacktop. Interior is the best its been, or at least as nice as the 2008-2010. However, I'm not a fan of the grill yet but maybe it will grow on me. The 4x4 stickers are ugly imo, the emblems with the B20 and green leaf are too "green" for me, and the engine sounds too much like a gasoline engine to me and is quiet as any I've heard. I am a fan of the diesel chatter but it appears those days are long gone. Yet, when you throttle it at low speeds you can hear a nice chatter.
The truck is nice and will sell well I imagine, but it is about $6,000 more than the 2010 models. The one I drove was $61k and the F250 was $60k. I won't be buying one due to the negatives I listed above, but it still is a darn nice truck. My personal taste is apparently not the norm with regard to a diesel chatter. I will continue to drive my 2003 for a couple more years and then buy a 2007 next, but it was fun driving the 2011.

Tweetgot any pics of that truck? I would like to see that
TweetI didn't take any of the one I drove but here is the link to Ford's site directly to the pics.

I will say this though, the truck looks better in the pics. I was not impressed at all with the exterior of the truck. The 2008-2010 are much better looking. However, the interior was very nice and it drove awesome. Either way, I would not buy one. Aside from the price, the damn thing is too green for me and just not as nice looking as the older models imo.
Dislikes: You have to add an exhaust lubricant to a separate tank inside the diesel tank compartment every time you do an oil change, or roughly every few thousand miles. The lubricant is to keep egt temps down. The Powerstroke emblems have a green leaf on them and say B20, which I didn't care for. It had hideous looking 4x4 stickers. The ones in the picture are not the same as the ones on the trucks at the dealer and all of the trucks were loaded with leather and all. I actually thought the truck had large scratches on it until I got up close and realized it was the pattern of the sticker that had lines through it that faded. The leather in two of them had a awful color pattern but the one I drove was nicer. The dealer has had these trucks for about 3 weeks and hasn't sold one yet, but times are tough around here.

BUT THE TAHOE HAS TO BE FULLY LOADED, LEATHER KICK ASS RIMS IT WAS AROUND45K-50K. THE WIFE AND I LOOKED AT ONE LAST YEAR AND WHEN I GET MY INJURY SETTLEMENT THATS THE TRUCK WE WANT TO GET NOT THAT WE WILL BUT THATS THE ONE WE WANT

Tweetsounds awesome. I like that diesel chatter too.
I wondered how than dual turbo system would do. I say "dual" because that's not "twin-turbo", but the engineers at Ford are putting together masterpieces that show serious results, and they must've raised the bar again with that new powerplant layout. The numbers are on point, and if it looks good on paper from Ford, then it's more than a delight on the street. Ever notice that about Ford? Their power specs have always been listed genuine, maybe even modest, while the competitors numbers seem to be a reach in reality on the street.
TweetWooo I bet that price tag matches that pretty truck!
Tweetyea the new truck is pretty nice. I haven't drove one but there is way to much emissions stuff on it for me. I am not a fan of having to put in exhaust fluid every 5k or 10k or whatever it is. I think ill stick with my 06 it's doing me pretty good and i like the way the motor sounds much better even if it doesn't have as much power lol.
