TweetWell, there goes Koscheck's shot. He won't get by FitchUFC President Dana White appears to put an end to AKA fighters Jon Fitch and Josh Koscheck not wanting to fight each other to decide who is where in the welterweight division:

The way the welterweight division has shaped up at the top, guys not wanting to fight each other doesn't work. St. Pierre has beaten all contenders put in front of him too date and with guys like Koscheck and Fitch sitting in the top four spots amongst the top welterweights in the world, and after both being beaten by St. Pierre, it only makes sense for them to fight to decide who gets the next shot

TweetWhat I quoted above was straight from Dana. Who knows? That don't make a lot of sense though. That would put GSP not fighting again for a while. The next season with Chuck and Tito hasn't even started yet.

I think that Ben Saunders was supposed to fight another guy that had to back out and Fitch took it on short notice. It may be the other way around, but if Fitch took it on short notice, then he did descent.
