daughter gets too much

TweetI don't believe you spoil someone by buying them things. To a point, of course. You really spoil a child by doing things for them that they damn well can, and need to do themselves. Yes, if you buy everything they ask for, then that's a sense of spoiling them on value and earning.
Now, with that said. I have always kept my daughter with, at least, 2 pairs of shoes to choose from. Well, I think I'm gonna have to pull that back for a while because she's gotten to the pointwhere she'll just have to have a pair of shoes. She'll promise to wear them. Once she's worn them a few times. Literally, like three times, she's threw with them, and she goes back to her Nikes. Which is good. She knows quality. Her Nikes always last til she outgrows them. Maybe it's because I wear Nikes. That might be it. But she just got a pair of Sketchers Twinkle Toes, with the little sparkly stones on the rubber toes. She had top have 'em. Now I'm having to make her wear them. She even tried to say that they're too small.
I'm just gonna cut it back to 1 pair of shoes at a time.

Tweetmy son wears what ever is on sale. he wants the expensive nikes but as a kid i wore the kmat special and toughskin plastic jeans.

we do get him nice clothes but if he ruins them he gets old cheap hand me downs. he appreciates his nice stuff. i do indulge him with video games (it's an excuse to buy them because i love em too)

Tweetmy daughter just get tennis shoes, but she's been into wearing slippers everywhere...its the thing for 12-18yr old girls around here...slippers!!! whatever...
my son...he's a pain in the ass!! he wants new shoes WEEKLY!!! and if i turn my back to look at a shirt or something, the wifes buying him another pair!! pisses me off!! who the hell this kid think he is? Imelda Marcus? he kills me. oh...and ALWAYS nike or under armor

No kids here, just my own ridiculous collection of cross trainers...Its gettin to where I could wear a different pair of shoes for every day of the month..haha..as for your daughter, HP,and those sketchers, well, she should have to wear them...lol
