Tweetim not that big in to home audio but i do know that onkyo is some good stuff. I think you would be happy with either of those.
TweetI like to do my shopping on the internet and don't know too much about home audio. But is this a good deal? I'm looking for something decent to go along with my 47" samsung 1080p lcd tv and blu ray player. I found these two b/c last Onkyo receiver I bought lasted me YEARS. Time to update and out of the loop but these both have great reviews. Any other suggestions welcome
I would like to stay in the $400-$600 range.

TweetTechnology, lol! I have a Samson Moment cell phone and if you go click on your "market" icon you can actually take a picture of the barcode of the item and it will recognize the code and find you the best price in your area for that item. cool stuff huh...
TweetGo to "Control4.com" If there is a dealer in your area, they will hook u up for sure. I have all my audio goig thru my router and can control all functions in each room and outside as well. they give free estimates too, so no harm in finding out. They take the guess work out of the equation and all you have to do is explain to them what it is you seek in what you want your system to do and the quality you are wanting. There are speakers/amps and receivers that cost less than some well known brands and are of very high quality in the clarity and sound range. I like power, but i also the the treble to be very crisp and the **** to be not muffled and just as clear. Im very picky and my TV sound, is just as good if not better than my stereo sound. I can hear all the background stuff like footsteps, engines, even the wispers in dvds. It is way cool. I have the Rhapsody too, so all i have to do is go to the online main screen to go into tv, dvd, music, video, mode and i can type in an artist or track and add it to my library/playlist, so i never have to buy a cd unless the artist or copyright owner doesnt participate. Might be worth a try. Just check it out.
Tweetb a s s dont know why it wont let me type that word?
TweetLOL- I do ----its a VERY bad word here
TweetI have Onkyo at my house and love it. Harmin Kardon-- BOSE (of course). I would chooose my head ubnit and speakers seperate if I had to do it again. I have become a fan of clear crisp music and Polk Audio is one of the best as far as speakers
