TweetA trainer was grabbed, and pulled down under-water, until she drowned yesterday at Sea World. This is the 3rd time this same Orca has attacked. I believe the second kill.
So what to do with the 12,000lb animal?
I know what happens to a dog that attacks like that.

TweetWe enslave and exploit animals for our selfish entertainment. Then we say "Oh how awful" when the animal expresses its genetic nature. Whales that should be swimming free, are confined to underwater cages. Horses are forced to dance in very unnatural and painful gaits and we call it beautiful. Animals are caged and tortured and we call it "Circus, The Greatest show on Earth."...its f u c king sick.
TweetThere are certain species that should not be taken from the wild and put into captivity. Orca is one of them.

Interesting way to look at things D. Are you Peta? Not that there's anything wrong with it. I guess it depends on how you view animals.

TweetAnd they can't even release the animal back to nature becuase it may have lost it's nuatural insincts on survival. so same question as above...what do you do.
TweetI bet they taste good with a can of tuna

No, Im not Peta. I do agree with some of petas views, but on some issues they are being ludicrous. I am very much for boycotting the Circus. Most people have no idea the suffering those animals endure for our fun. Ive had horses for years and Im often appalled at the way horses are treated. Cowboys and so called "horse people" are some of the worst. Ive seen horses beaten senseless by "horse lovers". I had to intervene. I guess its just me. I connect with my horses beyond a mere physical thing.. Maybe thats why I am the way I am about animal abuse. I really dont know.
That bull orca was captured in the ocean and transported to sea world. Placed in a swimming pool. Why is anyone surprised? This whales life has been a living hell from where they took him away from. Now they are probably punishing him by sticking him in a smaller swimming pool.
TweetThis is a very unfortunate accident, but remember these animals are not "pets" they are meant to be out in the wild. This is why even though they may be "trained" they can turn at any time and I am not a "PETA" person by any means.

TweetOrca's are violent in the wild, they kill sharks, dolphins, and have attacked boats. Why would you want to train or swim with something like that? Its like training a lion

TweetI agree with DZone 110%. They're given the name "Killer Whales" for a reason. They're animals. Not like a dog, or a cat, where they were bred strictly as a pet. No one bred an ORCA as a pet. You're trying to train an animal not to live with their natural instincts. Sooner or later, they remember their natural instincts, and people wind up dead.
Do I feel bad for someone when they live in "Tornado Alley", and I hear their home was destroyed by.... you guessed it, a Tornado! I don't feel bad for them. I ask, "Why the fukk did you move to tornado alley?!?!"

Tweetyep. It won't survive back out in the wild now. They don't even survive in those tanks they put 'em in over, where ever in the hell that is. but they have these giant tanks in the sea offf Iceland or somewhere, and they don't even last out there.
They'll feed allot of folks.
Anybody ever seen how killer whales catch sea lions right off the beach? That is some wild stuff right there! It's literally scary to watch. The water is just calm and pretty. 50 big ole sea lions will be lazing around on the beach, in the sun, and all of a sudden you see that massive whale slide up on the beach and snag one. It's nuts! Then they flob back into the water and flip the sea lions up in the air with their tales. They'll play with their food, flipping it back and forth like a volleyball. no kiddin. It's awesome. I bet I could run across the water if I knew one of those crazy bastards were in the water too.
They're smart anminals too. They said they'll practice their routines before shows by themselves. The people at Sea World said the whales weren't obeying just before it attacked. I saw one dude, that knows all about killer whales, he said that they plan their attacks well in advance. They're way smarter than dogs.
TweetCheck this out. Would this not scare the hell out of you if you were relaxin on the beach?!
Caution: A seal gets eating by a killer whale in this video.
Who in the hell gets the bright idea to try to play with predators like this. We ain't that high on the food chain out of our element, and without a weapon.
I'm sorry, but It's kind of hard to feel for someone that gets taken down by a killer whale if the play with them like they do. Especially when they know what kind of predator Orcas are.
