My pc monitor won't come out of power-save mode. Nothing will wake it up. I had to break my computer down and move it. Everything is fine, but for some reason the monitor won't come out of hybernation. Wtf??? It turns on, but won't wake up. I can press a button on the monitor itself, and it reasd "In power save mode. Press any button on keyboard or move mouse." And,ofcourse, that doesn't work or I wouldn't be posting this.
      Please help.

Solved. I plugged it into the auxillary/secondary(whatever) monitor input, and I'm back in action.

      Post Re: pc monitor issue

A few months ago, mine died on me. Simply stopped coming on. So I went to Fry Electronics and bought a 20" monitor with built in speakers.

But here's the shitz....A couple of months ago, I picked up a virus and had to re-boot the start-up disc. But instead of using the speakers, I'm still using my amplified speakers. However, now I have NO sound whatsoever. I was wondering if, after rebooting, the computer found the hardware for the monitor/speakers and applied them to the program, rather than my amplified ones.

That's odd. That's something I'd have to play around with and see what's where.
Have you tried moving things around? Did the monitor come with a driver/install disc?
