      Well, I have been working out now for about 2 months. I nromally workout with 135-155 on bench...I know, I know, this is nothing to most people but I admit I was very weak after a 6 year layoff. Anyway, we took about a 1.5 week break around the holidays and just got back in the gym last Saturday.

      Well, we started on bench. I threw 95 on there to warm up with as always. Then I threw the 135 on there and did it about 12 times fairly easy, which was really unusual. So then I put 185 on there and did that about 8 times which is VERY unusual. So I decided to put 205 on there and I did it 5 times!!! That is where our sets stopped, but that was a huge improvement over my usual. I am pretty excited about that. I think I could have done 210-215 for a one rep max. When I first started back, I had trouble getting 155 (as sad as that sounds). So that is a 50lb improvement in 2 months! I'll just be happy if I can get to where I can rep 225.

      Anyway, I know it isn't heavy weight to you guys, but it is to me!

      keep it up man you can do it. I workout with my younger brother and he is about the same strength as you it sounds. I just keep motivating him and he gets strnger and stronger. Keep at it.

      Well, we worked back today and we had a little energy left after the workout. My friend was whining about his bench being low the last time he tried. So we decided to mess around and max out on bench.

      I got 245!!!! That is all I had this time....but it was after a full back workout... All in all, I am happy. Making some good progress.
