TweetI have been with Hushmail for years now and have been paying about $21/yr. I just received a notice that my rates are increasing to $35/yr. That's a huge increase, like 67%.

Thinking about going elsewhere but establishing myself with a possible different address wouldn't be good.

So what does everyone else use for confidential email?

i hear ya...what happened was a while back i did not log onto the account for a few weeks and it shut me down unless i started paying. So, not to lose my contacts, info etc. i decided to pay.

i think now, since i backup, i can do that

i hear ya...what happened was a while back i did not log onto the account for a few weeks and it shut me down unless i started paying.

The same thing happened to me at cyber. But I figured that if I was getting spam in my emails there, it can't be too secured. Therefore, what exactly would I be paying for?
