First she has been hanging with girls that all have children at 16-17-18 so she thinks its cool and he is only 18 also. She's fuk'd because if she keeps the baby you damn well know her mother will be taking care of this child because her dumb ass cant even take care of her self.Its there own fault. She was raised in a disfunctional family with no rules and swearing all the time at each other,mother to dauhgter and just awful stuff said to each other. The mother would just buy them stuff to make things better. She wasnt a mother she was like a best friend to her daughters both of them and now 1 is pregnant.Ok sure what do you do in a case like this.She cant even help her self but now a baby. her life with no college no job no nothing and will live at home and now live off the state just great.Ok beleifs does a 18yr have the baby or get rid of it. does she give it up to a good home because this baby will not have a good home thats a fact.This is a mtv after school special night mare and this dumb ass 18yr girl thiks everything is just fine.You ask why am I mad because as parents we dont do whats right for our kids while there growing up. there father is a alcholic and wont stop there mother is a enabler. Oh and heres the kicker I dont want my 6yr dauhter to know that er cousin at 18 is pregnant and baby1 and I had a little fight about this becaue baby1 thinks it might be ok if my 6yr daughter knows well I dont want her knowing nothing at that age about having babys when her cousin is a kid anyway and thats what my daughter thinks. that her cousing is just a kid not a adult. I'm sure baby1 will chime in but I hope she see's my point of view that our daughter doesnt have to know anything about this pregnancy. My niece has always been over wieght so its not like my daughter will know she's pregnant anyway because she's been over wieght preety much her entire life. Please others chime in. I ned to kow as a dad if i;m right or wrong but I will not have my daughter asking why is my kid of a cousin having a baby. 18 immature she has a attitude her whole life this gprl has no respect for anyone or anything. she takes takes and takes from her mother

She also does not need to be given to much info on this because she is only 6, but unfortunately, this does happen in todays world and as she gets older, she will hear it then. Let me also say that I don't even know her boy friend so I can't say anything in regards to him.

I would never give someone my opinion on parenting their child unless asked.
Honestly Fuzo, if it were me. I would not sweat this whole situation the tiniest bit. If it were me. I would take it as a perfect opportunity with my 5yr old daughter. Your 18yr old neice is setting a perfect, real life example for you. Take it for what it is. The perfect opportunity to show your daughter, and explain to her what's going on. She'll get it. Anything she doesn't quite fully understand, the light-switch will flip on when the time comes later in life and she'll remember you and the lesson you were explaining.

I've read, like every 1st time parent these days, but I used to read all sorts of stuff on how to make sure your child takes the right path. I know for a fact, that people have probably thought, 'man, horsepwr is kinda early with his parenting.' My daughter is 5 now. The most impressinable years are 1 in-a-half/2yrs old to 5yrs old.
And on my lessons coming too early in life. Well just a couple months ago, there was a doctor(psychiatrist, whatever...) but this "parenting guru", that wrote books on parenting, said that by the time you notice you need to "have the talk", whatever "talk" it's time for, that you're 10yrs too late. That made me feel damn good about my parenting. And explains why my daughter has so many qualities about her that most other 5yr olds don't. She's a well rounded, very caring, compassionate young lady that already knows things to lok out for in people, and life in general. People see it in her too. Even her teachers have mentioned, several times, she has such a unique way about her. She knows things about people already. She has a bearing on things that most kids her age doesn't because I've instilled those values in her. I've been blessed to be able to spend more time than most fathers get to with their daughters. Some of my curses have really been blessings in disguise because it's given me invalueable time with my daughter. But, whatever time we have, we have to make the most of it. And if given certain opportunities to teach lifelong lessons, take 'em by the horns. Take her around the situation, or remind her of the downsides of the people in general. Once she gets the difference in what's good and bad. You can fill in the blanks that she doesn't see with what's really going on, and how what is going on is going to negatively effect the person/persons involved and even the new baby. Compare the bad situation to your baby girl's good life. Ask her if she could imagine not having you in her life every day, or mommy not having you around to help all the time, like your neice's baby's situation might be.
You know what I mean. Just paint the picture for your daughter. Her life is great to her. She'll understand an alternate lifestyle with all the negatives, and how bad that would be. and that will stick with her.
You might be lucky you have this whole scenario at your fingertips. It might be one of the most valueable examples set in front of you for your daughter.
Use it to parent. Your girl will get it.
From your explanation of your neice and her relationship with her parents, it sounds like your neice would not be in this situation if she had a mother and father like y'all to teach her right from wrong. She needed, badly, parents to paint the picture for her. And way before she was 17.
