    man...i cant wait too see the sales numbers from this holiday shopping season. i think people have benn holding back so long, denying the impulse buying for so long, that they just needed a reason so they can POP!!!! the stores are SOOOO JAMMMED!! i talked to a manager at aeropostle (or whatever its called) this weekend and she said she's been there 5 years and this is by far the best sale season ever. she said they busted all previouse yrs already!! i went to the post office to mail something out a few minutes ago and it was jammed!!! people lined up around and outside!! i NEVER seen that before!! anyone else thinks it looks busier than in the past?

    well my wife has spent plenty of my money. Nothing like waking up from graveyards to a note from your wife say-"went shopping be home before you leave". Hell I'm affraid to ask what she has spent thus far

      I know my daughter is racking up this year. Based off her Christams alone, it's the biggest one yet. and she happens to be 5yrs old.

        Sales are a bit stronger as compared to last month and prior yr same month. Like you said consumers may "pop" and blow the numbers away. Here is a link to the census report on consumer spend
