TweetCleaned. can't tell much difference in the pic. The engraving is better. I'm not that concernd about it. uggit
I'm tired.
TweetThey called a day early, so here she is. NIB, fresh from the gun shop. Before it even got a cleaning, which it's going through now. I took a break to post this while I thought about the inscriptions.
I'll post a cleaned follow-up. Once the engravings are clean. and everything else.
New gen Ruger P95 w/forward acc. rail. stainless steel, as you see. 15+1 capacity. Capable of continuous P+/+P+ high-velocity.

Tweetnice...2 tone slide/frame.
Best lookin pimp gun on the block my man.
You will be runnin yo B&^@%$# with a strong pimp hand that will go well with the faux alligator skin shoes.
no joke it is a really good gun and the look is classic.
me likey...
Tweetthanks much!
It's growing on me. The decision on stainless was purely for the low maintenance and durability for me.
I would'nt have been able to scrub the engraving with a bronze brush without loosing the finish on the matte blued. Then again. I wouldn't have needed to scrub the engravings on the black slide to begin with.
I would like to get them this clean.
but they, the engravings, wouldn't remain this clean for long at all. They'd be right back to how I have them in no time.
TweetShe looks sweet Bro- now go burn some rounds
TweetWent through a couple hundred Thursday without a single hiccup.
I fell for this thing. I was grouping, at biggest, 2" from 30'. I got 1 big hole from 21ft. Always a flyer or 2. I like to throw a few more holes in the paper. Looks better.lol. It was 1st time with it. I'll get better. This gun is as accurate as the shooter though. It's a smooth shooter. I love that capacity. The trigger is heavy on a DA first round. A quick pull of the hammer solves that. Great smooth SA with a crisp, predictable break.
I really like this gun. It's a very simple set-up. There are 4 pieces when field stripped. The frame, slide, barrel, and recoil spring. It's a quick and simple field strip and put back together. Simple. And simple functions flawlessly. It's made to shoot +P/+P+ NATO continuously. I'm glad I got the stainless now too. It's a tough piece.
I thought it was bulky. which it is not small, but I carried it on my hip IWB strong side, and it'll carry like a champ. I put it in a cheap Task holster, and it is a delight in that little holster. It needs nothing more for CC.
Needless to say. I'm ecstatic with it.
Tweetsounds great- I hope to have some time to burn some rounds myself
TweetCongrats and enjoy!!!! It's a GREAT feeling to have a new piece!!!
TweetI just bought that same gun! It's the first gun I've ever owned. It's super accurate. From the 2nd line I got 14 out of 15 headshots. I tried for the Third line with a new target but it fell off the line in the last few shots. I wasn't about to walk out onto the range to pick it up
I think the overall quality of it was much nicer than the similarly priced S&W Sigma that I was pairing it against. It just felt solid, whereas the S&W felt cheap and plasticy.
I picked mine up for $357 after tax and everything brand new. How much did you score yours for?
TweetRight within a few dollars or yours OTD. (it was listed $424)
There isn't a gun even close to the price point that can compete. I am more than satisfied with the Ruger. First Ruger I've owned, and it won't be the last. Excellent gun. Very accurate, as you said.
Glad to hear you like yours too. and congrats on a great choice. Fine pistol. Fine shooter. It even carries well.
Gota love that 15+1 capacity too.
Tweetit shall be named LEX RUGER .... one of my old roomates has it. nice looking I like how if the gun is hot it has that little red tab that indicates one is in the chamber.
