Anyone have/had, or spent quality time, with a Ruger P95?

I came a gnat's ass from bringing one home today.
It looks like a well made pistol. It's a Ruger. The P95 has established a name for itself, so I'm sure it's worth the deal I have on the table with it.

I like it. The deal I'm offered is good. I'd just like to hear from anyone that's had one.
I like that "Made in the U.S.A" sticker inside the case too.

I have only owned one Ruger and that was a Redhawk .357 mag revolver. If you are looking for a nice semi though I just bought the Springfield XDM 9mm. I haven't shot mine yet but shot another one in the indoor range at a gun store a couple years ago which is why I finally bought one. It is a nice shooting gun and has an affordable price tag. I paid $599 for mine which is all black and comes with an excellent carrying case including extra grips, holster, loader, and clips.

But I do hear good things about the Rugers too.

I do not condone the use of, nor do I use anabolic or androgenic steroids. My participation on these boards is for informational purposes only. I have done extensive research of AAS and enjoy discussing them for role playing enjoyment.

I here good things about the Springfield XD. You should have yourself a fine gun there. That's a little out of my price range at the moment, though.
I have something special on layaway that has to be off shortly, and I am getting a new pistol asap. so, I'm having to camo these transactions...I'm in covert purchasing mode. I told the wife about the layaway piece, so...I'm having to make any new pistol kinda seem to slide in the picture without too much swappage of funds. know what I mean? The pistol could be a completely covert op. but not at $599.

The Ruger comes with hard-case, 2 mags, mag loader, and lock.
The shop has it with matte blue slide, or stainless slide for $25 more.
The stainless is more corrosion resistant, but I like the solid black.

In that case, payoff your layaway and keep the wife happy...lol.

Yeah the XD is a nice gun and won gun of the year, mine is the newer model XDM. I also have an H&K .45 USP which I love.

              H&K. another fine gun.

I researched the P95 last night, and that thing has people singing praises for it across the board.

I have always liked the look of the Ruger and may buy one eventually.
