I have been working out now for 3 weeks. Should I be seeing weight gain or weight loss? My goal is to lose bodyfat. I know that the scale is not the best way to measure progress and I have been going by my clothes and the mirror. But my question is, should I be losing because I am burning fat, or will I gain because I am building muscle?

When I first started, I weighed about 178lbs. Now I way around 183-184lbs. I don't really feel like I have gotten fatter, and it is not something that I am just paying that much attention to....it is really just a curiosity thing. Tonight I am going to start taking measurements to monitor my progress.
