Tweeti would drink a protein shake as soon as you leave the gym bro 30-45mins after a work out
TweetI know how important the post workout nutrition is and that it is supposed to be taken immediately, right? Many times, after our lifting is over, I will go up and hit cardio for about 30 minutes or so. Then I will go home and try to get in the post workout stuff in. Is this good or bad?

TweetOkay, I do that. I just didn't know if doing the cardio for 30 minutes after my workout was hurting anything.

Make sure you get some fast acting carbs also in that protein drink. I think you should try to consume a post workout drink within 30 minutes of a lifting workout.

TweetSee this is my basic question. I was wondering if the 30 minute cardio sessions were throwing off my timing on the post lifting drink.

TweetIf it were me, have my drink during my cardio workout. I don't think it would hurt anything.

Tweetwhat if he did his cardio first? then worked out.....then he would be able to have his drink right after the workout.
I know there has always been a cliche of cardio before or after workout
Ask yourself....why exist if you can't be the best? What is YOUR answer?
TweetWell, I have always been told not to do cardio before my workout because it will take away from the intensity of my weight session.
