I trust everyone is having a great week!

The weather is getting nice and it’s actually
a little cool in the early mornings~!! (YESSSS~!!)

I believe we’re all capable of way more than
we think we are.

Achieving any type of goal first starts in your
mind. And as it pertains to your fitness goals…

…if you don’t get your psychology “right” from
the get-go, your physiology doesn’t even matter.

The reason being, is that your mind controls your
actions and actions are the only things that will get
you to your fitness or fat loss goals.

With that said, here’s something that I hope
gets your mind “squared away” on your goals.

I wanted to pass along something that I wrote
a little over a year ago that talks about how your
actions and your mental state control your fitness
results.

************************************************** *******

Here's some food for thought (and action) as
you'll read below....

I've always been a bit of a dreamer or more
what I like to call a "projectionist".

The idea of using visualization to "project"
your future has gone Hollywood lately with the
popularity of "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne.

My first memory of "projecting" was way back
when I was 8 and getting ready to ride in a motorcross event...way before
Rhonda ever produced the movie or even knew
what she now calls "Law of Attraction".

I never knew there was a term at that age, I
just had a very vivid and creative imagination
as a kid.

You can say it went beyond having a vivid
imagination because I would literally close
my eyes and imagine having what I wanted
and then "planning" out my strategy ahead
of time.

Not until I was about 14 did I know there were
people teaching others this "visualization"
thing I had been doing as a kid.

Now as an adult, I use it all the time. All
my goals, whether fitness related, for business,
relationships, etc all get some "projection"
time every single day!

It's not like I sit and meditate (although I
think that's a useful tool), but several times
each day I'll take a minute and "project" myself
having accomplished whatever it is I've set a
goal for.

There is a bit more to it than just
sitting around thinking about what you'd like to
happen. Thought is powerful, but without action,
your thoughts won't go very far.

There has to be ACTION along with it because
thinking without action is like trying to run
a mile by staring at the track....it just isn't
going to get you very far!

So why all this talk about projecting, law of
attraction, imagery, manifestation, visualizing,
"The Secret".....or whatever you want to call it?

As it applies to getting fit.....

...because exercise and eating properly without
any emotional "reason why" won't sustain itself
for very long nor provide you with the desired
results you're after.

Think about this....

Question:
Which woman do you think will accomplish a
higher level of fitness and a healthier,
leaner body?

The woman who keeps a meticulous daily food
and exercise journal. OR The woman who tries
to eat healthy and get her exercise in when
she can.

The woman who has clearly defined goals of
running a sub 8 minute mile OR The woman who
tries to get in some running if she can find
the time.

The woman who spends a few minutes each day
visualizing what it will feel like when she
accomplishes her fitness goals. OR The woman
who flies by the seat of her pants each day
never taking a few moments to "project" herself
having accomplished any fitness goal.

The woman who sets a specific deadline and action
plan ahead of time detailing each days necessary
actions to get her to her goals. OR The woman
who has no plan, no deadline, no details on
anything related to her fitness.

Well, I'm pretty sure you picked the first woman
in every situation.

It goes without saying that WE control our life
by the thoughts we have and the actions we
take every single day.

Are there other things going on that influence
our lives, of course. BUT, without thought AND
action towards a specific purpose, little will
be fulfilled or accomplished!

"Create the highest, grandest vision possible
for your life, because you become what you
believe"
- Oprah Winfrey
**************************************************

The first step is to DECIDE what you want and
have a burning DESIRE for it.

"Very often we ask for things because we think
our life will be better with those things, but
inside of us we do not have an immense desire
for those things.

When you don't feel that immense desire within
you, you are receiving guidance telling you
that this is not something you really want.

That is why it is so important to get clear
on what it is that you really want with all
of your heart, because what you really want
with all of your heart is the very desire that
you can manifest quickly."

Then....

Write it down with as much detail as you can.
Every tiny detail that you can think of. Maybe
it's a paragraph, maybe a couple full pages.

Now imagine how you'll feel when you
accomplish that goal.

Take a few minutes each day. Close your eyes
and put yourself in that emotional state of
accomplishment. Bring out the details!

Now go take that first actionable step towards
acieiving your "Desire"!

Let me finish off by saying....

"You design your life....not any other person but YOU!"

So As I would say to myself in the gym when I feel like I just can't get those last few repetitions cranked out, "HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT~!!!!"

SO TELL ME HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT~?
Now go set and meet your goals!!

Stay Strong~~!!!
