That reminds me of a funny story. Last month Jacob lost one of his teeth and we told him to put it under his pillow for the tooth fairy. Well, we forgot to put any money under his pillow and he came running in there the next morning wondering why the tooth fairy didn't get his tooth and leave any money.

Luckily it was raining the night before and his mom told him that the tooth fairy can't fly in the rain and that she would probably bring it the next night. He thought about it for a minute, and said OK. He just had this look on his face like, that really makes sense! It was funny though.

I mentioned the tooth fairy and Hayden said, "she's not real." I said, "yes she is" and explained how the tooth fairy works. Then she asked what color she was. I said "I don't know". I'm thinking black or white, and she goes, "I bet she's purple & pink". Then she sat there, and you could see the gears turning with her imagination and she smiled and said, "I bet she's beautiful." She is correct. Her mommy is beautiful. but...for some reason I think I'll be stuck with tooth fairy duty.lol.

LOL, I've done that too. I just knocked it up to the tooth fairies work load might have been too heavy that night and suggested he try again.

...and what's really funny is because that happened, I make more of an effort to remember now. Well, my boy lost another tooth the other night and after he went to bed I looked and looked for some change of small bills and couldn't find any; I wound up giving him TEN DOLLARS for a freaking tooth!!! LOL, oh well, he was pretty excited about it...
