TweetSo I take testosterone. I want to get my sperm-count back up to normal, maybe higher than normal or average. I've never taken HCG.
What is the usual dosage to get the count back up to a level so that a baby can be made?..500iu/eod?..250iu/every 3rd day???
Also, if the doc gives me a 5000iu bottle, what is the ratio to mix?..or will it be pretty self explanatory, or easy to figure?

TweetWhat is your age bracket?
I'm 42 and 500iu's a day or 1,000 every other day puts my LH at high normal. If you have been on a while without HCG and have noticed a reduction in ejaculant volume, testicular atrophy or that your ejaculant is very clear, you might need to run 1,000-1,500 a day for for 14-21 days and then to above dose.

TweetI'm 33.
I don't think my fertility is completely non-existent.
So it wouldn't be a bad idea to kind-of give myself a boost for the first couple weeks and then level off at 500iu/day or 1000iu/eod?
That's about twice what I had in mind. I was thinking 500iu/eod would be sufficient.
and thank you for the input!
TweetAlthough doses can effect people differently (20% or so range) I'm one of the few people that actually get bloodwork done and 500iu's a day just brings LH to normal range. Since I am on HRT, if anything, my body would be very sensitive to HCG being that LH is so low while on HRT. Just as if one would use too much HCG for too long you run the risk of becoming DE-sensitized. At your age and I'm assuming you are in our weight class, It'll do you fine.

Tweetappreciate the info fe.
I'm not so confident in my doc's knowlege after a couple of whacky answers he's given me.
