TweetI don't know how many of you out there have iPhones, but I came across some pretty neat fitness apps to help log exercises, routines, results, and now a protein log to help you document weight, and monitor your consumption... I wanted to share a link and see who else is using these apps to aid their endeavors and what other software they use..
The App is called Muscle Gainer, and it you can log in your intake as individual items and or create 'meals' that are foods and servings that you typically eat as you train.. the app then accumulates the amount of protein, calories, and fats for you and lets you know when you have reached your goal for the day.
The software also logs your daily weight and together with information above creates a graph of your progress towards your goal weight in real time as well as exports/emails you nutritional labels set up exactly as those found on food products as you ca see below.
I just downloaded the app yesterday and have been toying it. It's great. runs smooth, intuitive, and the database for the food is extensive and accurate, as I compared nutritional facts for the foods against wolframalpha website...
any thoughts? is anyone else using apps like this instead keeping a moleskin and pencil with them on the floor?
