      I think you'll be fine!

Pack some unused pinz and switch the needles just before you inject.

Just pack them in such a way as to keep the plungers from having any pressure on them. I once saw a guy use a cigar holder.

I wonder if you kept your shit in a anti-sting kit if you could get away with it? I was a beekeeper for a few years so I always had a sting kit around and they come preloaded with a needle of epi. And some Benedryl.

last 2 times i flew i had all my bags searched. Wouldnt risk it as the vacation wont be worth a damn if you miss your flight getting intteregated,or worse yet...in jail!

If you find out where you are staying, and as long as you aren't leaving the United States, you can just mail it to yourself at your motel. I think this is probably the safest.

You might be ok but as someone who travels a lot for work, I am not doing the following. Buy empty sterile vials and fill it with enough gear for the trip and keep them in your carry on. Then you can either bring the syringes with you in another bag (not your carry on) or fedex them to your hotel address. Its been working for over 2 years now :-)
