Tweethave a good time bro!!!
TweetI get to be in a wedding this weekend. And they're having rehearsal tonight. instead of the night before the wedding??? It's gonna be hot. bah...it is indeed an honor though. I've just never been that much into 'em. Of course, weddings are really for the bride. really. I mean, we, guys, don't play "wedding day" with barbie and ken since we're yay high. know what I mean.
but, gotta get ready to play wedding day.
at least next weekend I really do get to relax.

Tweetno rehersal dinner????? that breaks tradition- call them and tell them- they owe you dinner!! LOL
TweetJust my friend's mom actually. The bride's sisters are okay, but the groom's mom was looking tuff. She's who I walk with too. She's cool as hell. way cool chik. We got there at the same time, and when she got out of her truck(SUV), she grabbed my arm and asked if I was her date for the night. I looked her up and down and said, "sure". She can get away with wearing clothes that you usually only see younger chiks in, and she was getting away with it last night. She just wanted to put a show on for her ex-husband as well though. which is the father of the groom.
But, it was all in fun. We, his mom and I, always bs with each other.
Tweetlol, I know, right. Oh, you don't even know. They're breaking all kinds of tradition. My man is having to pay for everything instead of the bride's parents. Which her father passed away like 10yrs ago, but she's had a step father for years, and her mom's alive and kickin. Then, on the subject of rehearsal dinner. The groom's father traditionally takes care of that. Well, I shot the shyt with the groom's dad. He's one of the groom's-men. which again, isn't traditional. As isn't the groom's mother being a bridesmaid. The bride has no maid of honor because she has 2 sisters and didn't want to piss one or the other off.wtf??? It's time to let a sister know that it's time to grow the fuk up. But yeah, it's got non-traditional all over it.
My wife's father isn't a wealthy man, but that poor man had to run up some debt to put on the wedding we had. When I walked downstairs to get married, and saw everything, heard the quartet(there was actually 5), but they were called a string quartet. That shyt was amazing. I haven't been to a wedding yet that competes.
I had to get the honeymoon though, so I guess our's wasn't traditional down to the last detail.
Tweethey have fun! Bein in it can be fun. Otherwise, I usually dread having to go...lol..then when I do show up, its usually late and I only stay for a half hour or so. Sign the guestbook and run..LOL
TweetThe groom just called to see if I've picked my tux up yet, and to let me know they're at the place setting up. Damn, it was nice to have that shyt done for us.
I was out of town, in SC while my wife was taking care of things for our wedding. I literally didn't have to stress over a damn thing. My wife did though. I've always said that our wedding planner must have loved my wife. she took care of so much. The Marriot on the Bay where we got married did a phenomenal job though. It was nice. The honeymoon suite was killer too. That was a fun evenin. Once we ducked out, and I got to see the rest of her wedding dress esnemble, err, the under the dress ensemble...that was nice.
