i haven't got the gearing done yet as i haven't been able to get down and pick my bike up and bring it back with me where i am living now. I did however get some swing arm sliders, an integrated tail, some pazzo levers, proton flush mounts, and im working on a better helmet i don't like the one i have. As soon as i get it up here which it should be a month or so it's going to get a full exhaust, pcIII, and geared down. IM also trying to find someone that can install heavier springs and revalve the shock. I don't do enough track riding to warrant a full ohlins setup or anything but im way to heavy for stock suspension.

You know that your front and rear compression/rebound damping settings are adjustable. If your bike hasn't been adjusted for your size, that's your problem. The standard settings are way on the soft side. Grab your manual, and turn to section 3-18. 3-18 thru 3-22 will walk you thru the easy process of suspension adjustment. You'll note the standard setting...(straight from the manual):
"Rebound damping setting: Minimum (soft) - 25 clicks in direction (b)
      Standard - 20 clicks in direction (b)
Maximum (hard) - 1 click in direction (b)"

Same with the rear compression damping force. This is something you can do right quick.

Let us know how she feels once you've got her dialed in to your liking.

ADJUSTING IT IS ONE THING BUT IF YOUR TOO HEAVY TO START WITH YOU HAVE TO CHANGE OUT THE SPRINGS THEN ADJUST....OR PRE LOAD THE SPRINGS TO BEGIN WITH.

ID DEFINITELY LET SOMEONE THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING MESS WITH THAT THOUGH!

spring compression/rebound is serious biz. That's potential wash-out. You can have fun spinnin it up out of corners when it's set too soft though.

You know I didn't mean that like "that's your problem." just saying, that's the problem.

It you were to get into track riding. You would be setting this to your liking after laps and noting bike feedback. Only you know how it feels to you. You can harden it up pretty good. At your size, you do need to adjust the spring, and that takes a special tool. But it's the same technique. Click one way to soften, and turn so many clicks the other way to harden. You want to keep note of how many clicks, starting from all the way soft, on each setting.
