TweetNow that we have a new major corporation running the company I work for, I have like 154 bosses and I have to send all my projects thru the proper channel so everyone can has their input. Then it has to be approved by all 254 bosses. Gees... I just sit hear waiting to hear from someone.

Oh, we have task force to study everything. The task force to make sure the special task force is doing the task right. So if you need to change a light bulb, we have a task force that handles that, but they have to meeting to make sure that proper procedures are in place before the light bulb is changed. Before we can buy a light bulb we have to get it approved by the purchasing department.

OMG! I don't see how anything gets done in this corporation.

well..it's a little different than that. i got one REAL boss here and he micro manages...i HATE that, but atleast, once i get past him, it's done. when i had to run things threw 14people just to get an ok to proceed, that was annoying...i guess it could be viewed as micro-managing by alot more people, but i see it more as a way for people to justify a job thats not needed. creating their own busy work, so to speak

Tweetwe don't have that many VPs but it seems like there are umpteen dozen people that I have to go thru to get something done. It's not really micro managing... it's more like corporate bureaucracy.

I know I shouldn't be complaining because my former boss micro-managed us to death. I've just got to get use to working for a huge corporation now and my heart just isn't into this. I know I'm lucky to have a job... <sigh>
