      How accurate are the machines at stores like wal-mart? I took mine tonight and it was 139/67. My resting heart rate was terrible. I'm not even going say......

      yup, the cuff is too small... the thing is not accurate...

      I tried the one at walmart to it scared the shit out of me it was so high, so I went out and bought one, Big difference...

      i couldn't get the one at walmart above my elbow lol....so i would say not accurate

      You are right. If the cuff is to small it will give false readings. Also the ones you buy at the store give you a close reading sometimes. The best way is to get someone who is trained on how to take bps wit a old mercury sygmomonometer. Mercury is the most accurate. I fix medical equipment.
