I just got an MRI done on my back. I got the results and the spot in my L5 (Lower lumbar) where the siattack (not sure if spelled right) comes out and runs down my leg is getting pinch by my disk pushing out.

You guys think Deca would help.
I can lift, run or do anything for about a month! I am so fucking mad!

if deca did help with how you felt, it'd only be masking your underlying condition anyway...take the time off and recover...you don't want back troubles the rest of your life

I have not taken deca in a long time.
I was wondering if taking it now would help me in recovering faster

i seriously doubt it...only rest and/or surgery/treatment (i don't know how serious your condition is)...it may help you FEEL a little better but not actually recover faster

I'm guessing you have discus herniation and this is what causes pressure on sciatic nerv. I agree with HeHateMe. Try some physiotherapy. They have device they call Pearl (I think). They hang you with your feet up so your spine stretchs with your own body weight. If you're smoker quit and drink more water to hydrate your discs.

My L4 is gone and L5 is herniated, what has helped is doing heavy good mornings seated, as well as hyper extenstions. I go to a chiropractor about once every 2 months just to keep dialed in. Look to strengthen that area as well as the stomach muscles, it will help.

I also doubt Deca would help much.....it especially wouldnt cure the problem. It mainly depends on how bad it has slipped and your back history etc. I have recently witnessed several back surgerys where hardware was needed to realign them and stabilize them. But this of course was on people with probably a more serious spine condition.
What did they tell you after your MRI??

I have a herniated L-5 and it has been giving me hell for the past 2 years. Sorry, but Deca will do nothing for this. Depending on the severity there are a few options. I have had two spinal epideral injections. The first one did nothing and the last one ( 10 days ago) has me feeling better than I have in two years. I have found that hyper-extensions help as well as keeping the abs in good shape.

Hey bro the best advise I can give you is get hooked up with a chiropractor that understands sports related injuries. Gear will help heal the injury, but you need to understand how it happened and what to do to prevent it from hapenning again. I'm 46 years old and still giving it hell it hell with lower back problems. For me it means increasing my flexibality along with weight training. If your interested PM me.
