ABC News has learned that the nomination of former Senator Majority Leader Tom Daschle, D-S.D., to be President Obama's Secretary of Health and Human Services has hit a traffic snarl on its way through the Senate Finance Committee.

The controversy deals with a car and driver lent to Daschle by a wealthy Democratic friend, a chauffeur service the former senator used for years without declaring it on his taxes.

TweetConsidering that Daschle spent his entire career talking about how corporations and rich people don't pay their fair share of taxes, it's almost comical that he would have the nerve to amend the taxes only because of the position he wants to obtain and all is forgiven. I agree with fuzo, a republican would have been held to a higher standard.
He also amended his charitable contributions downward? How do you suddenly realize that you didn't give as much as you reported on your return? ANYONE who is okay with this is a partisan.

The media, as well as everyone else that's invested in Obama will never admit to any wrongs. watch. All you can hope for is that they'll secretly learn. Maybe the light will, or has, finally came on. They won't come out with it, but hopefully they'll pull correctly in the future.
