TweetIts so very sad to see a child die, it is also so very sad and breaks my heart for them that this is "NEWS" that needs to be talked about every day. Leave them alone and let them morn the loss of their son. This is life changing for them and the news just wants to poke and prod and ask if maybe they did not take care of their son.

Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of actors John Travolta and Kelly Preston, died Friday after suffering a seizure, according to Travolta attorney Michael Ossi. He described the boy's death as "the worst day of John's life."

"We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief," the Travolta family said in a statement. Travolta and Preston also have an 8-year-old daughter, Ella.

The loss of a child is "the most painful loss that humans can sustain," said Dr. Charles Raison, CNNhealth.com's mental health expert.

It's a sentiment to which many parents can relate.

"When a child dies, it's like a black veil dropped in front of your eyes," said Loder, executive director of the Compassionate Friends, a support group for parents who have lost their children. "Everything you see is through a black veil -- that's the death of a child. How can that basketball game go on? How can life go on when my child is dead?"

I think it is a tragedy and scientology had nothing to do with it.

It is a very sad trageday but if they weren't treating his seizures with prescriptions because of scientology, then scientology has a lot to do with it.

Come on now that is rediculous. Now don't get me wrong, I think Scientology is a crock and they seem to be lunys that are practicing it. Howerver, it has already been confirmed that Jett was on a strong seizure med until his doctor felt the sides were not worth having him on it any longer. Now, I am not going to get into a debate over this one because I think it is a sad tragedy and nothing more, but everyone can have their opinion on the matter.

And if so, I think that the parents should be held responsible. Being that he was still considered a minor, it is the parents' responsibility to seek proper medical care.
