first are they decent for a home gym?

how much should I offer him, I have seen them on sale for a grand. I was thinking 400.00-500.00

Tweeti have one as well.. but id like to sell it for some free weights...but there again there isnt room in the garage..lol

TweetTo answer your first question, I think they make an "okay" home gym if (and only if) one isn't into working out with weights. It's perfect for a beginner and/or someone who should not medically lift heavy weights, as in dumbbells and bb plates. I would think that it's about as effective as a universal gym.

I have a 300 lb Olympic weight set I got for like $300 at a local sports shop. Brand new and great for when I cant make it to the gym.
