Tweetamazing feat, good for him
TweetFollowing up on his APF Masters Nationals performance, Mike Hummel, 242, benched pressed 650 pounds at the WPC World Championships which were held November 20-23 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The effort gave Hummel the M1 class victory. Hummel, who is 44, lost his left arm in a car accident a few years ago at the mid-forearm. With the help of a prosthetic, Hummel is able to compete. The prosthetic features a hinge and screw clamp, allowing him to "grip" the bar. Hummell also hit his 616 pound opener and missed a final attempt at 661 pounds. .
