TweetI would go for a quad shot on your first couple of injections. It's easier to see what your doing and control your shaking hands. it also is a hell of a lot easier to aspirate. but this is jmo. I shoot everywhere but glutes but that's just me.

Tweetpersonally i'd focus on arms... delts would be nice (bis and tris if ur comfortable with it - no diff. tho)
never had any probs with delts (or bis/tris)... but i did have some with the quads... not often tho... personaly quads hurt me more than say delts...
flex the muscle few times 1st.. feel it with ur hand... know it's location and where u wanna inject... clean the spot with the alc. sawb... (wait till it dries... it stings if u poke and the spot while it's wet from alc)
the only part that kinda stigs (hurts?) is the 1st few millimeters (the skin layer - cuz that's the only layer that has most of the nerves - inside the muscle there aren't that many - so u won't feel the needle going through the muscle at all).....
so just give it few lil pushes till u pierce the skin layer and then once ur in the muscle (usually u can tell) give it a constant pressure till u reach the depth u want... (if u hit something - nerve/vein pull out, and find a new spot (if u got spare needles use a new one, not neccessary tho)- happens to the best of us)
keep it nice and steady... if u start shaking, or can't keep the position with ur hand (when doing the delts for example) try leaning ur elebow or arm onto something (table, chair etc)
asperate (pull the plunger just few millimeters to check for blood) if u see blood coming into the syringe, pull out and find a new spot... if u see bubbles, ur good to go.
push at the time as much as ur muscle can take... sometimes i can do it in few secs. and sometimes i have to do it slowly and stop every once in a while - depending on the muscle...
once ur done, stop for a sec... and pull the needle out... fast/ slow is up to u.. i do it slow...
if u see drops of blood coming out or ur gear oozing, use the alc. sawb and push it onto the hole for a min.. that usually stopps it...
and regardless of what happens (blood/gear or not) clean the site with the alc. sawb again once ur done...
the reason i'm suggesting the delt for a newbie is cuz i find it the least painful site (as well as many other ppl i talked to), and also u might be familiar with delt injections from before (doctors for example usually use the delts when they give IM shots)
Tweetyour all such a big help thank you very much
TweetIt really depends on what you are shooting. Their are only a very few things in which direct injections matter. I was using deca on my last cycle on spot injecteds that shit everywere, and I didnt notice a dam bit of difference, sept it hurt like hell. It has to get into your blood stream for it to work, so you but is just as good a place as any.
TweetI'm with Hagen. I have only spot injected once and it was with deca and I did not get shit from it. I have heard this about deca from others to. I would stick to the glutes on your first cycle, and don't worry about the nerves b/c everyone gets them.
Tweetthanks guys you anwsered my Question
TweetQuick question..
Have any of you ever shot in your pecs? I am on hHG and
thought about shooting higher up. My lower ab section
is getting banged up from shooting from my past cycles.
All total I have been using this stuff for 3 years on and of.
Any suggestions?
TweetIf you're saying HGH, then you can sub Q it in your thigh and hip region as well.Originally posted by allamericanbeef

Tweetfor you first time it is a great spot. good idea would be to lay on your bed or on the floor it will help you relax you glut muscle andkeep you leg slightly bent. Not to scare you but if needle make you a little uneasy it would be a good idea to be already laying down incase you pass out or start to feel sick other wise you are on the right track
TweetAlways remember to TAKE YOUR TIME. Make sure the needle doesn't touch anything that could infect it, and thoroughly clean the injection site with alcohol several times. I personally rotated glutes and delts, RG, RD, LG, LD, since I was injecting twice a week. And ALWAYS ASPIRATE. If you see any blood, move the injection site and ASPIRATE AGAIN! When you don't see blood, then inject slowly. So in other words, follow the instructions on spotinjections.com. I personally cleaned the site with alcohol after sticking myself and put a little neosporin (anti-bacterial cream) and covered it up with a band-aide. It's no big deal bro', good luck.

TweetHagen, not sure if anyone mentioned this tip, but this is something simple that helps me when I'm darting myself: Take a deep breath... Set the point of the needle against your skin where you are going to penetrate. Exhale as you pierce the skin and push into the muscle. Has always helped me.

TweetI just did it for the first time.. sust250 in right glute and followed kwik20r instructions. I was having a confidence problem with the idea of "darting" it into my glute. Just pushing it in SLOWLY was no problem at all. I also did the breathing and asperated the syringe to check to make sure there wasn't any blood.
Thanks for the tips, and walking me though this. I was going to get an old girlfriend to do it for me (she told me at one point that she's done it) so it saved me the hassle of dealing with her.
The only strange thing is that I could swear I felt a bit of a tingling sensation in my calf just after I injected it in my glute... is a tingling numbness a normal sensation in the leg/butt you inject in? Seems to be quite fine now, just curious.
Follow kwik20r's advice first timers... makes it easy.
I know nothing about any of this insanity... it's just a fun game to me.
