Iran Congratulates Obama - First Time Ever Since 1979




TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Thursday congratulated Barack Obama on his election win — the first time an Iranian leader has offered such wishes to a U.S. president-elect since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Ahmadinejad sent a message to Obama in which he congratulated the Democrat on “attracting the majority of voters in the election.”

In the message, Ahmadinejad also said he hopes Obama will “use the opportunity to serve the (American) people and leave a good name for history” during his term in office.

Now we can all rest easy upon knowing that the man who wants Israel wiped off the face of the earth, who is close to gaining a nuclear weapon, and is a threat to the entire middle east and the world approves of Obama.

Remember….no preconditions!

And hey, how bout that stock market!

Hopes that Obama’s election on Tuesday would restore confidence on the battered financial markets were swiftly dashed as markets in Asia, Europe and the United States all suffered losses.

Down close to a 1000 and there is more to come folks, but at least the lib’s now feel patriotic:

The feeling was evident in jubilant partying in the streets, in quiet moments of reflection and in blossoms of red, white and blue.

With newfound patriotism, Seattleites want to wave the flag, hang it from their homes and stick it on their cars.

“The thing that’s kind of astounding to me is I never ever would have cared to own a flag,” said Rosemary Garner, 42. “This is the first day in my life I actually feel this funny sense of pride about my country. It’s a very foreign feeling, but it’s a good one.”

You really think that will happen? If in fact it does and business are taxed even higher, they will just raise prices and cut jobs, and then how will the middle class benefit?

when investing taxes are just a cost of doing business, everyone has too contend with them, it has very little influence on the value of a business

growth in sales leads too growth in earnings

these companies have been around 20 years so they have a track record of being well run and managed

they have switched inventory to more consumables, ketchup, toothepast, toilet paper, versus clothes and electronics, thus there sales are rising and inventory is turning over quicker

they have implented two major projects in the last 3 years, upgrade computerized tracking and inventory, and store manager and assistant manager retentions, since this retention figure is paying off big time, it just means more consistency in local store, folks get too know one another, again how too move things better, plus, it helps with store help, everyone likes consistency

retailers overall do not care about rising prices, they care about spread between cost and sale price and inventory turn over

if i can sell u 12 tubes of toothepast this year and make a dime on each that's 1.20, versus a radio that may or may not sell and my money will be tied up in it and i will take a loss just dumping it, similar with clothes
