find a friend who is seriously into training and have him show you around the gym, different excercises and stuff like that. if youre reaaly serious about training and gaining weight start eating around 3500 calories a day, split those calories up into 6 or 7 meals eaten every 2 to 3 hours throughout the day, keep the protein/carb/fat ratio to something like 40/40/20. most of all you need to research and experiment with diet and training to see what your body reacts to. and if your gonna start eating like a bodybuilder you need to train like a bodybuilder or you will get really really fat

Do you know where one builds action, stamina and guts? In the gym under the iron day after day, forever without fail or excuses or grumbling, that’s where. It’s true. I read a study somewhere and that’s what it said, really.

There’d be fewer battles, less drugs and less crime and more happy moms and dads if we all lifted weights… let’s face it. In what recent medical journal was I reading that?

.....the basics need to be lifted high in this age of retarded new wave info. dave draper

If you want to gain weight the only thing that you can do is eat more calories than you use. This is the ONLY way to gain weight. Try following a few of these suggestions and you should see good gains in a few weeks.

      1. Eat enough protein. You should really eat atleast 2 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight per day. This will ensure that you have enough to grow adequately.

      2. Stop drinking soda, tea, coffee or any other soft drinks. Drink more nutritious calorie dense liquids like milk, or juice.

      3. Eat healthier carbs. Try eating better carbs. Eat whole grain products instead of the white or bleached counter parts.

      4. Fat is your friend. I'm not saying that you should pile of the mayo and the butter etc, but you should not curtail fat consumption at all. Eat plenty of fatty meat, nuts and cheeses and use all of those liberally. They will help to boost your calorie count.
