TweetI can do without eating-out. I'd have a hard time doing without cable or internet.
I've been trying to figure out where I can cut back more, and it's difficult. I've already cut out as much of the extra spending as I can... I haven't spent money on clothes, jewelry, shoes or other misc items. I don't drink coffee, so I don't go to Starbucks or other chains like that. I take my lunch to work every day already. There have been times we didn't go out to eat, because we just didn't have the money. There are times I've had to cut back on how much groceries we buy. There is no public transportation that will go to my office, so I can't cut back my driving for work. I usually make a trip to my parents once a month, but this year I only gotten to see them just a few times.
I would say right now we are only spending money on basic necessities... utilities, food, gas, house and medical.
