I really cant decide which one is the idiot in this story

TweetWhen we think of ‘fast food’, three possibilities come to mind, instantly: burger joints, pizza joints and chicken joints. It’s the last category which concerns us today. According to story I found on Fox News, a KFC store has some rules of engagement which aren’t exactly posted on the menu. One such rule harkens back to the term ‘FAST food’, since it involves a time limit imposed on unwary customers.

A nurse trainee, Natalie Jackson, found out about this time limit the hard way, when she and a chum ordered a 14-piecemeal, 6 bags of fries and some large cokes to wash it all down. Very serious about their eating, the hungry pair, sat in the KFC for the next 90 minutes, downing every bite of that lard-inducing meal. It was, I’m here to tell you, an impressive bit of eating. Ironically, it made a lasting impression on the KFC manager, too.

We know this, because a few days after her feast, Natalie, a regular at that chicken shack, got a message from KFC. We’re not sure of the wording, but the gist of it runs like this:

Thank you for patronizing KFC. During your last visit, you overstayed your welcome by exceeding our 75 minute limit we imposed on our parking lot. You now owe us $264. Have a nice day.

In their defense, KFC insist that the time limit is imposed to keep the traffic moving and making certain that KFC continues to qualify under the commonly held meaning of ‘fast food’. In her own defense, Natalie said, essentially, bite me. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
