Belt testing

TweetMy daughter has her first belt testing for tae kwan do (little ninjas), next week. She seems to be doing well and she loves it so far. She broke her first board last week and surprised the heck out of herself. We really hope she sticks with this so she will be able to defend her self in life and kick some ***, if need be.

if yu are concered about self defense get her in jiu jitsu TKD is better than nothing but most attacks put a person on the ground where its useless. jiu jitsu will equalize the size and strength and let her break an assailants arm or worse

Tweetthat is great! We need to be getting our little one into something. She's quite the little do-er...busy body. She likes to put her bath-robe on and play fight.

That is really awesome though. very good for her.

Tweetya she is doin just fine actually better than most of the kids her age and theres nothing wrong with taekwondo as self defense cuz if you know how to do it the fight should never go to the ground
