TweetVery tough call. I will be pulling for Mir to win because I would really like to see him back on top....but Nog is going to be VERY VERY tough to beat!! Subbing him will be almost impossible and he is one of the hardest MMA fighters to KO, so it will be a tough one to win for Mir.

So you are saying that not only can Lesnar beat Randy, but he can beat Nog, one of the greatest fighters of all time? Not to mention that Mir schooled Lesnar on the ground. Who cares what was going on before the fight ended...the fact is that he got beat by Mir.

I wouldn't judge his abilities on the simple fact that he beat Herring. Herring is not exactly a top ranked fighter....more like a gatekeeper.

Lesnar got caught with an ankle lock, that he ALMOST got out of... Lesnar DOMINATED Herring, who was one of the better fighters in Pride... Lesnar is going to be too much for Randy... too big, too strong, too good of wrestling skills.. he's not the tomato can Sylvia was... and Congo.. there is NO WAY Congo would beat Lesnar, he would take him down at will... Congo has already showed he has NO game off his back...

and as far as the Nog fight, Lesnar is getting better everyday and with every fight, I think by the time they fight, which will be in maybe june or july.. he will be ready... no doubt, I think that the fight with Nog will absolutely be his toughest challenge,.. but I think he has a pretty good shot in that fight, I would put that one at 50/50

Mir would school Lesnar any day of the week on the ground. Mir has some of the best BJJ outside of the HW division. Lesnar got caught because he wasn't smart enough to settle down and not get in that position. Herring is a gatekeeper...not cream of the crop. He will be bigger and stronger, but Randy is smarter and more experienced. Gonzaga would beat the hell out of Lesnar and look at what Randy did to him. Lesnar is going to have to become more well rounded. If it wasn't for his name, he wouldn't be fighting Randy now. I think that is BS, but that is just me. I like Lesnar and think he has a ton of potential, but I don't think he is that good right now. And if he does make it to the top, I will lose all respect for the HW division. I exxagerated a little on the Congo thing. I don't even like Congo, but I was using that to show how much stock I have in Lesnar at the moment. His size and strength will only take him so far. The top fighters know how to use that against you. And for the record I can't stand Tim Sylvia, but i think he would beat Lesnar.
