TweetI know a couple of guys that have been personal trainers for 10yrs without actually being certified. I've always thought that would be something that demands certification.
TweetDoes anyone here have any? If so, which one's do you have? It seems that there are many trainers at the gym I go to that are not even certified. I guess that doesn't mean that they are not knowledgeable, but for all the money they cost, they should be certified.

Tweetnsca-cpt. national strength and conditioning association- certified personal trainer.
Its one of the hardest certs to get along with ACSM.... or CSCS.
It would much easier to get an ACE or ISSA cert. It depends on how much you already know about anatomy and physiology and exercise physiology and science. if you want to train at x-sport or something get any cert. they have ones where you order the material and then take a test.... if you get it wrong they send you the right answers then you send your test back in.
