TweetSo I picked my 5 year old from pre-school yesterday an the teacher told me that my daughter another little girl were talking about politics. The teacher said my daughter was for McCain and the other was for Obama. I just thought that was too cute! Obviously our daughter is paying close attention at home in regards to politics, lol!

TweetMy step daughter is 18 and this is her first time voting. She is so excited and really into the politics. Naturally she's for Obama, and I asked why. Her reply was that his speeches gave her chills and are historic, pro-abortion, pro-gay marriages, for alternative fuels and the environment. Then I asked where he stood on the economy, credit crises, social security, health care and gun control. She shrugged her shoulders and said, "I don't know".
Uhhh... to be young and innocent again with that romantic notion that you can really change the world. I didn't want to bust her bubble.
Tweetmy 19yr old keep asking me who he should vote for...i'm like..dude..thats for you to decide. me and his mom WILL NOT make that decission for him. it seems like whoever has the best shyt on youtube pop up that day, thats who he's in on, lol

TweetMy brother and his wife have twins (boy and girl). My mom and I stopped by their house one afternoon to visit and see if they wanted to go to diner with us. The twins were 4 or 5 yrs old at the time. My SIL told my nephew to go upstairs and get his sister. We could hear them talking, and he said, "Morgan wake up were going to eat diner. Aunt Dixie is here." She replies, "but I don't like Aunt Dixie" My SIL turn beet red. I though what have I done to intimidate her. LOL
Needless to say... they both give me big hugs when I see them now. I live out of town and wasn't around very much with they were babies.
