1. Why is it ok for the US to enter Pakistan's sovereign territory unauthorized in order to target terrorists, but Russia is condemned for doing the same thing in Georgia?
2. Why did the US recognize the independence of Kosovo in Feb. 2008 but condemn Russia for doing the same for S. Ossetia and Abkhazia in Aug. of the same year?

no dave...georgia didnt want russias help..it was georgia who attacked south ossetia and russia came to their defense...like we did when iraq attacked kuwait....
...a small special forces team , is completely different than a blitzkrieg assault.
I think a lot of Russia's problem is the country is being perceived as sliding back into a more authoritative style government. When a country doesn't respect the rights of it's own citizens everything that country does outside those boundaries are going to be viewed very cynically.
