In all seriousness...I like his choice for VP. Over 80% approval rating in Alaska (that means more than 50 people like her), opposes ghey marriage (not that I'm a homophobe), pro-life, so she'll appeal to the hardline conservatives.

I usually don't get into the black/white, male/female thing. I would hope they pick the best person for the job but I know that's not the case. I know that there have been many women and minorities that have been passed over because of their gender or skin color so I am glad to see that it is OK (and even preferred right now) to have someone other than a white old man on the ticket.
