TweetI've never not done PCT, but there were some times that were half assed during PCT. Those times seemed to be much less effective when compared to the times when I did a full PCT.
Tweetwas reading up on some posts on another pretty big board and all the guys were talking about how they think pct is a waste and they come off naturally. They were talking about how they thought pct was a "myth". What do you guys think about this???...and does anyone do a cycle and no pct???

TweetFrom personal experience, and biological fact, I can tell you pct is a MUST! When you take aas it doesn't matter if you take 250 mg/wk or 1,250 mg/wk, you WILL shut down your natty production. This is an absolute fact, there is no doubt. There may be denile, but it doesn't make it any less true. What happens then is your body goes from higher than normal levels of hormones to nothing. There is no such thing and ramping down with aas. That will NOT get your natty production of test going. The recovery time for the body to get natty production back to where it needs to be takes so long that you lose your results. Now, there are guys that will tell you they don't lose much and blah, blah, blah. It's total crap! Here's the question you need to ask yourself....who are the most muscular men in the world? Pro BBers. Do they use pct? Yes, all of them. So, any opinion on that matter from anyone else is unreliable. If the largest guys on the planet use it, then it's a sure thing that it's important. Anyone that doesn't use it won't get much in the way of life time results. I knew guys that used the stuff without pct and everyone of them, without any exceptions, lost most to all of their gains. Why in world would you take the risk if you aren't going to keep anything from it.
I have done both ways, many times, and it's an absolute fact that running some form of pct will ensure you keep a much higher percentage of your gains. After all, isn't that what it's all about....progress? How can you progress if you move four step forward and three steps back? It would take forever, not to mention the havoc it plays on your body. True progress is moving four steps forward and only one step back and that can only be done with pct.
I don't care how much you eat, how hard you train, your natty production takes a long time to come back on it's own and during that time you WILL lose size and strength.
TweetI didn't use pct after one cycle. Won't do it again.
TweetYea i have never not done PCT...apparently there is a major population of lifters that just plain do not believe in it...all of them say its better for u to "naturally" come off cycle instead of forcing it with pct and all this stuff...never heard of it before.
TweetThis is a bit old but I never do PCT.
I used clomid one time post cycel and it didn't do jack for me.
THat being said I have some personal reasons I don't do PCT but it has nothing to do with retaining gains, etc.
Would I do better if I did? Maybe but I've not noticed any appreciable difference in strength or size contrary to what will insist not to be true.
If the strength starts to drop it's time to get on again.
Now that being said - for many years time off was minimal.
It may only be 6-8 weeks and some of the half lifes last a long time so it would be reasonable to say that just as I was cleaning out I was back on again.
It's really too hard to say but aside from this past year and gaining an extra amount of fat from living on my couch for too many months I've never had a problem not using PCT.
There have been times where I took several months off and maybe even over year once but I can assure you this my weight never varied more than 10 pounds or so.
It used to but I quit getting so fat in the offseason and my clean weight (after months of being off) was still holding in the 250's
So one could argure if I did it I would hold in the 260's but I don't know about that.
I really don't have a solid reason NOT to do it. In fact I dont have ANY reason why not to do it.
If you feel it works for you jump on and have a blast.
Heck, I'm all for it but again for personal reasons I do not.

TweetI think it's def important but i only do clomid and androgel and keep alot of my gains.
TweetAgreed.. I did it ONCE as well... came off all depressed and no motivation or sex drive whatsoever... will NEVER do that again.. I wont even start a cycle unless I at least have clomid on hand

TweetTo be honest, i've done over 30 cycles in the past 15 years and havn't used PCT'S once-only Arimidex leading into a show but now that i'm 36 i'm going to start. The last cycle i did back in Nov left me crashing (labido wise) badly in about late Jan to Feb ( deca & enanthate) So i'm about to use tren & enanthate and after reading up i'm definately going to use Clomid & Nolva post cycle.
I'll admit I was prob a bit foolish not to use em but I tend to bounce back pretty easy-maybe just use some tribulus and i'd be back to normal but age catches up on you.
My advice though if you have the resources...use em-they're cheap enough anyway
TweetI have done PCT sinse I have been on HRT-LOL
TweetI havent done pct in many many years and probably wont, I'm on for life or until I cant anymore and I have to come off
