TweetI love the warm weather. I'm in FL and still love the summers.
TweetI'm in FL too. I love the weather. I'm not so big on the humidity, but at least we don't see that dry triple digit stuff. I hated that inland. It feels like a hot hairdryer instead of a nice gulf/ocean breeze.
Tweetbest weather is in arizona and nevada...dry desert heat..no dew point or humidity...cant ask for better...thats why im moving...asap...
TweetA family member by marriage lived in AZ for a while. He's so glad to be back in FL. He, along with several people I've known that's spent time in that area, say they'll take this FL humidity over that oven dry heat anyday. I guess it's whatever you'd rather. I've felt a dry 112 before, and that ain't for me. Take it on up to a dry 120, like in Arizona, and I would be like I fish out of water. I'm like a fish out of water at a dry 95 with no gulf breeze. You can have that dry oven heat. I'll take the humidity with the cooler breeze off the water. At least you sweat and cool off. You don't sweat in the desert. Just drink plenty of water and you'll survive that desert heat. I came a gnats ass from doing a 2yr job in AZ. I was glad I got to stay in South Carolina when I started hearing from the guys that went to the AZ job. They had a crash course on how not to die out there from that dry heat. They said right when you step outside, it felt like thousands of needles all over your body. Plants can't even survive out there.
TweetI did some research and read that about 7000 people move to Arizona and Nevada...now I assume a lot of them move out also but for me desert heat is good.
TweetLast week I was laughing at my NY friends (from Long Island) and it was 102 there and 98% humidity. Here on the west coast of FL it was 89 and 78% humidity. People think it's always humid here, not true.
